Rapid Close

A new concept in flexible packaging closure systems has blasted off from the creative minds at Discovery Packaging Inc. Our new patented closure system is Rapid Close™. In essence, Rapid Close™ provides a simple way of sealing a film-based package. The seal is achieved by pulling upwards on a release tab. This upward force opens a fold along the adhesive strip; leaving the adhesive exposed to the interior of the bag. A secure seal is made-It's simply that easy!

The marketability of this product is strong, because Rapid Close™ can meet end-user requirements in numerous ways. Features of the Rapid Close™ System

The ability to fill and close a package in mere seconds.
Available with either a tamper evident seal or a reclosable seal (direct and indirect food contact).
Can be sealed virtually everywhere without special equipment.
The integrated release strip is apart of the construction of the bag itself.
Can be manufactured in wicketed/heat pinned header groups of 50-100 bags.
1-8 color flexographic printing available on both sides.
Plain, or colored film in the exact gauge required (film gauges start at 1.25 mil).
